Jimopl, Just a torrents of your mod I have a problems: or the download process stops at 36.7%, or mod can't be downloaded. Whether this is due to the fact that you place mod in the United States, or just a bad connection. As for me, using MEGA file downloaded is better. You still have not answered: do you need adapted models?

JR , Mega works for many people, but for others it does not work, so we believe we are going to have multiple ways to download the mod for the next release. That should work right?
As for the vehicles, do you mean vehicles from UFO made to work in Cold War mod? Can you give an example?

Yes, I mean that, I can send to you some vehicle, for example: model of Type 99 or some IFVs, I have configured .def, .mdl. and some interaction_entity files. WARNING! It works only with original resources of CW(set, stuff, interaction, properties)

Some resources here, such as 125mm_zpt98, qjc88 may seem unfamiliar, but I taken some models from other mods/packs and create the stuffs based on CW for these models.

JR , If we were Converting CW Files to the mod then I would gladly take you up on this! Right now were only doing basics of adding vehicles / guns / skins / etc ... so the models you have converted would not work. In the future, assuming we are allowed, it would be great to add features from Cold War into our mod but for the time being we are not at that stage yet. As the models are from UFO we already have them but in the future I may contact you about this issue again, as you would be great help! Thank you for the offer!

Patch 1.5.9 was released. The patch is availible as full mod only. Delete previous version of Cold War (Cold War folder). 
Mod setup is performed as usual.

Hi people, I have a question. I wanted to merge this mod with the original campaign, so I could swap units and keep the rest of the mission scripts intact, but I noticed that most of the game resorces are not loaded by the mod. Is there a way to disable that?

MaxShadow, original campaigns were deleted by 1.pat , and 3rd campaign was replaced by Chechen one. If you want to adapt original missions for CW by your mod (that should be applied after CW) you should copy 1.pat, open it by WinRar/WinZip and delete from .patch everything except 
{Patch
    {id 1}
}
This should work, but even if it won't - you will need to copy original missions to your mod in any way just to replace units. So these changed maps will load after CW and shouldn't be deleted by its 1.pat.

That worked like a charm! The editor still complains about missing definitions in vehicles, but since I'm going to replace all units, it should work.

Right now I'm working on two mods. This is the first one:

It's a little mod that allows you to play the three first skirmish missions of each faction using all multiplayer units, and with any faction as player and enemy. The other one is similar, but with customizable bot-matches in multiplayer maps (I haven't published it yet).

I want to ask you permission to use Cold War factions in my mods. None of your resources will be included or modified, I just want to make a few script files so people can play the skirmish maps (and multiplayer maps when I make the other mod) with your units. They will still need to have your mod installed. If you don't agree, I'll just keep these files for personal use.

By the way, you did a great jod with this mod! I found it a few days ago, and I got amazed by the amount of content and attention to detail it has. It's my new favorite now biggrin Too bad it was removed from ModDB, it definitelly deserves more popularity. Keep up the good work!
